It happens everyday.
  • Priceless, family heirloom photographs damaged beyond repair. Damage from water, storage or accident can make the subject of your photo almost unrecognizeable. Often the damage is to a photo many years old, and the negatives are long gone.

  • A treasured old photograph has people you don't know standing next to your mom or dad. You keep the picture because they are in it, but you wish that the picture was of them alone.

  • An old photograh had bad lighting or bad composition. You keep the photo, because it is one of a kind, but fixing it would make a much better display.

  • You take 5 versions of the same group picture, but none of them are the 'right' picture. Someone has their eyes closed, a funny look on their face or is in shadow.

  • Two or three pictures of the same event 'go together'... but one picture would be better.
There is a solution to every one of the problems mentioned above. You no longer have to settle for pictures just are not quite right.

Digital photo repair and reconstruction is an art form. The final new photos are often better than the originals. People can be added in, taken out, color corrected, adjusted... the possibilities are endless.

Your new prints are then printed on photographic paper, as if they were taken yesterday. New papers and inks are archival quality, so they will not yellow or fade with age. You also have the option to have new prints made in black and white or sepia tone, so that they will look their correct age.

Skeptical? Take a look at a large sample of a finished portrait. Give it time to load, I made it big so that you could take a good close look. See if you can figure out what, if anything, was changed.

Take a look around the Samples page. There are many examples of corrected and repaired photographs. Each has a description of what was done and why.

We would love to restore your photograph to its original beauty - or create a new original for you!
